DescriptionNorthwestern College is a Christian liberal arts college affiliated with the Reformed Church in America. Founded in 1882 as a Christian Academy, Northwestern was first a high school and then a junior college until 1961, when it became a four-year liberal arts college. Northwestern is one of 100 members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
