DescriptionCollege of the Southwest is an independent institution of higher learning founded upon Christian ideals and principles. The College offers students of all persuasions programs directed toward intellectual development, characterized by breadth and depth, and moral and spiritual growth. The academic program of studies is designed to foster leaning in an atmosphere of intellectual freedom and scientific objectivity. The curriculum, which includes a broad background in the arts and sciences with special emphasis on the foundations of Western civilization, traditional American values i.e., Christian principles and the American free enterprise system, provides a logical basis for programs in the disciples of the arts, sciences, business, and education leading to preparation for graduate or professional school, and for career leadership in business and in the community services.
